How do i see myself as teacher

I see myself as a good teacher in the making; there are still so many years to go and lots of growing needs to take place in the three years to come. So I’m not an actual teacher yet but I’m feeling really good about where I am right know. I must say that when helping people study for exams and they come home with way better results than the previous term, I think I’m doing just fine as a teacher in the making.

Reflection on the process of blogging

I never thought of me blogging because I’m not the kind of person who really enjoys writing anything, or putting any feelings or views of something on paper. It was cool to see what my friends think because this is not the usual conversion we would have over lunch. The blogging process made me open up and made me reflect a little on myself and how i see myself as a teacher. I have to say i enjoyed the blogging experience and will definitely make use of my blog.

Is it necessary to integrate social media in classrooms

Definitely. The social media in the class attracts the learners attention and there something to look at while the teaching is explaining things. The lesson can be made very interesting because of the social media, I think that learners don’t look out for a boring class but with social media there’s always something to look forward to, for example looking forward to the videos the teacher is going to show about volcano eruptions, because in reality we cannot see a real eruption taking place but social media makes everything possible in the classroom.

How did teaching practise change my idea of how i see myself as a teacher.

The teaching practise was a reality SHOCK! To me, I asked myself is this what you want to do for the rest of your life? But my answer was still yes even though it was a huge challenge and that I’m not very older than some on the learners made the task difficult. But my point is that I could see even with almost no age difference and actually being but only a first years student, the learners respected me as teacher....And to me being a teacher is a real privilege.
